Also this year San Benedetto Abate participates in the initiative promoted by Reggionarra dedicated to Loris Malaguzzi. From Reggio Emilia an invitation to Italy, to Europe, to the world, to rediscover the value and magic of the story, in a multiplication of voices that like stars will light up the Night of Stories on 23 February 2024.
Even the children of the San Benedetto Abate nursery and nursery participate in the magical event that brings adults and children together around stories, adventures and emotions to read, narrate and listen to.
This year the poem that accompanies us on the threshold of the night of stories is "A REFARE THE WORLD" by Ilaria Rigoli:
Let's go and remake the world.
They will serve
good words
strong words
the green words;
silence will be needed
of the forests, the thought
of all heads.
It will take days
hands will be needed
they will serve the anger
of today, and peace
of tomorrow.

the creation.
We will need the stories, the songs

The San Benedetto school presents "the week of stories" entitled I will take care of you!
Our calendar includes a long week of stories, stories, readings and dramatizations in the morning during school hours. The initiative will start on Monday 19 February and will continue throughout the week, closing on Friday 23 at the park where all sections will meet for a moment of sharing.
Families will also take part in the event, on Friday 23rd at 9.00pm: everyone, with siblings and friends, at home or in the park under the stars, will be able to share images, readings, tagging scuola.sanbenedettoabate and reggionarra with the hashtag #night of stories from their Instagram profile.
Stories, books, dramatizations, outdoor readings, all together, gathered in a big WE, a single circle or many circles, in the park or at school, inspired by the theme of nature, by perfumes, by flowers, by colours, by the beauty of the world... a WE that meets, that discovers, that imagines worlds... united to REDO THE WORLD.
Narrating and telling together is a festive ritual, a magical moment full of emotions.
