World Children's Rights Day is celebrated on November 20th. In fact, on 20 November 1989, the Convention on the Rights of Children and Adolescents was approved by the United Nations General Assembly, the most ratified human rights treaty in the world, with 196 States Parties. Also this year the San Benedetto Abate school proposes the theme of children's rights, focusing in particular on the right to inclusion
and identity and inspired by the book "Tutti i colori della vita" by Chiara Gamberale. A global day of action, made by children for children, to spread awareness about the rights of children and adolescents.
The proposed initiative involved families in reading the text "all the colors of life" and in the creation of a small house built by the children with their parents, in order to create a panel that will remain posted in the school hall.
